Wooman Power Recruits New Student and Tackle Socio-economic Status Quo

In the international seminar of APEC Women Builders Creating Inclusive Future held by Executive Yuan, issues of women in workplace have been discussed, with comments including hoping to solve various issues such as gender pay gap, low representation of women leaders in management and c-level executives in all industry with the help of female role models. In response to this, Wooman Power, a community which devotes to solving challenges faced by women in Taiwan and helping women be the best of themselves, invites female entrepreneurs, content creators and social media influencers to share their expertise, and has designed a 3-years learning system. With more than 2,000 ladies from different countries joining the course in a period of short time, Wooman Power is on its way to becoming the leading women growth community for Chinese Women.

In the event APEC Women Builders Creating Inclusive Future held by Executive Yuan, comments of hoping to solve various issues such as gender pay gap, low representation of women leaders in management and c-level executives in all industry with the help of female role models have been made. Various data indicating the differences of male and female in workplace has been disclosed, including the fact that male receives 160% of female’s income, on average. Hoping to tackle the status quo, Wooman Power aims to become the leading growth community for Chinese women.

“For most people, it is difficult to change internally and overcome fear by themselves. However, it will be different if you have companions with common goals. With right people affecting each other, we can build new habits and behavior patterns in the community, which in turn changes our mindset, and leads to personal growth. For that particular reason, we have designed a “closed-academy” for the ladies,” the two founders added.

With its sight set on international market, Wooman Power has designed a 3-year learning program and has invited around 100 female entrepreneurs to join the growth community. The community focuses on 4 topics, specifically branding design, business skills, inspired thinking and career planning. To build the sense of belonging and security among the ladies, weekly live sharing, monthly physical conference and study groups are scheduled for the best results.

Wooman Power recruited more than 1,500 students from different countries when they first launched last year. Enrollment of the 2nd batch has started on September 9, with over 100 ladies joining the course in just 3 days! We can see women growth is a market with huge potential, with Wooman Power already in leading position in Chinese working women community. Our magnificent mentors, including CP (Inna Organic, Co-founder), Ama (Inblooom, Co-founder), Crystal Pai (Microsoft, Senior Product Marketing Manager), dontkjoanne (Youtuber with nearly 400k subscribers), will be sharing their expertise in person. With this endeavor, Wooman Power hopes to empower Chinese women to find their rightful place and voice their opinions, and challenge the status quo.
