Collaboration with Academic Institution in Thailand: Bangkok University

The booming Southeast Asian market has sparked significant interest among Taiwanese businesses. However, with the diversity and complexity of Southeast Asian countries, many companies struggle to find a clear starting point to enter the market. Often, businesses are unsure of how to begin or lack the necessary know-how to make a successful market entry. If there are knowledgeable guides who understood the target audience and could offer a variety of support and services, it would undoubtedly make international expansion easier and bring better results!

CiRCLELiNKS and Kasser Integrated Marketing’s presence in Thailand go beyond providing marketing services to help brands establish themselves. We also actively connect local opportunities to help businesses enter the Thai market with greater advantages. This includes creating opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry, allowing businesses to engage directly with local consumers and collect valuable feedback from the target market.

Through years of work in Thailand, the team has built a network of local connections and through referrals we had the precious opportunity to collaborate with Orimos Education on this project! Orimos Education team focuses on assisting Thai students to explore education opportunities in Taiwan, offering support such as scholarship applications and consultation. The team’s core members are all Thai alumni who studied in Taiwan and are now dedicated to sharing their experiences with more Thai students.

Collaboration with Bangkok University

In September 2024, we had the great pleasure of collaborating on this project with our Thai partners, Orimos Education, offering Bangkok University students real-life practical experience working with overseas businesses who are aiming to explore South East Asia markets. This project also creates valuable opportunities for Taiwanese companies to know more about the Thai market and interact with Thai consumers.

The eight participating brands are all very interested in the Thailand market, eager to know more about the fast-growing South East Asia market. On September 6th, the companies had the chance to meet students online, offering brief introductions of their businesses to the students and sharing their precious insights on the opportunities as well as the considerations when choosing target markets. We had a total of 400 students joining the online event that day, and the best has yet come!

During the physical event on September 27th, we had a total of 528 students joining the big day with us, to have a rewarding interaction with Taiwanese companies. The companies gathered valuable feedback on their products and services, and had the opportunity to promote their brand to potential users. Some of the companies even scouted talented students who may become future team members! After the event, the company representatives had dinner with university representatives, where they discussed potential future collaborations with professors, hoping to create further partnership opportunities.  

From September 30th to October 11th, the companies have also prepared topics for the students to do research on. For these companies, having the opportunity to overcome language barriers and collect market intel, gaining access to previously unattainable intel was incredibly valuable. In addition, these companies now have more valuable marketing materials from their participation in this project, for them to share their endeavors in the Thailand market.

CHATISFY

CHATISFY is a well-known chatbot solution provider from Taiwan. It integrates messaging services such as Messenger, Instagram Direct, WhatsApp, and LINE, making it easier for businesses to interact with and maintain relationships with their customers via social platforms. Having been established for eight years, CHATISFY serves clients in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. Since Thailand and Taiwan both primarily use LINE, with Instagram and Facebook also widely used, Thailand has become the next key market CHATISFY aims to explore.

RICA is a hair and beauty brand from Italy with over 40 years of experience, selling in Europe, the Americas, India, Taiwan, and other regions. As RICA’s main partner in Asia, the team is responsible for expanding operations in the region. Thailand is one of RICA’s key target markets in Asia, and with this project the team hopes to explore the local hair, beauty, and body care industries, as well as to understand the factors Thai consumers consider when choosing such services, in order to build RICA's market strategy in Thailand.
